A free year review worksheet that uses the record, not your memory.
The opening pages of The Reset Journal, free. Most New Year plans start from a feeling about last year. These pages start from the record: the calendar, the bank statement, the photos. Then you pick one change, give it a floor small enough for your worst day, and tie it to something that already happens every day.

What is in the free PDF
- How this journal works. One page on why one change, twelve weeks, and one score: how automatic it felt.
- The Year Audit. Two pages: where the hours and money actually went, and eight areas scored with the evidence beside each score.
- The Reset Contract. The one change, its floor, its ceiling and an if-then plan, signed before Day 1.
- A worked week, and Days 01 and 02. Exactly as they appear in the full journal.
Do the opening page before the first log. It takes five minutes, and the logs mean very little without it.
Why only three
Two days will not tell you whether a habit is forming; in the best-known study the median was 66 days. The Year Audit is the part worth doing now, whenever your year starts. The days tell you whether two minutes a day is something you will keep.
If the three work for you
The full journal carries on from exactly where the sample stops: 84 days of logs, six fortnightly checkpoints, two reference pages, the Reset Line and the Verdict. It is a printable PDF on Etsy, and the whole Etsy shop is 30% off until 25 October. How the full journal works.
A self-help record, not medical advice. If your change involves food, exercise, alcohol or medication, check it with a GP first. The interior is written and laid out with AI assistance, then reviewed and checked. Quotations are public domain. Free for personal use; please share the link to this page rather than the file.
